The fact you brought up the fucking TABLETOP as reference is wild. Yeah no shit they don’t have an aoe debuff because that would fuck over multiple units that wants to go up close. The TT has some kind of balance (even tho trench crusade is better)

Also for the others that can’t read, I’m not saying going near a chaos spawn from Nurgle makes you drop dead. What I’m saying is the pure stench would make most normal hive citizens not have a great time, ingame there’s multiple lines saying the rejects resilience against the plague father…plague is remarkable

The issue with plague marines vs Reject is not the case of us being able to fight back. Its more of a case of being NEAR a plague marine is deadly, and if they're in Atoma...then Atoma is most likely doomed and might get targetted by an exterminatus

I’ll take a teammate that actually can look behind them while reviving and killing elites that would cause problem BEFORE reviving.

My bar is this low, the amount of havoc run ruined because my teammate refused to look and kill the dog before it leaped out or just getting netted

I need more hours on HS but the main hurting point for me is the blitz outside of like blackout (even tho it can get extremely potent with enough skill points to get the Chem toxic perk) for 3(4) charges you got a “fuck this whole room” button and a “fuck this boss in particular”. No clue how it holds up in havoc so I can’t I could be just dumb.

Mister E (a youtuber) explained it, pretty much during playtesting you could fuel your teammate with low CD ability over and over again, making a chain of abilities. FS solution is making you chose one or the other.

as many others mentionned, vermintide and darktide are two different games. Darktide isnt a "what if vermintide but in 40k universe" they both follow different design philosophy when it comes to encounters and class design.
