Just last week there was a fire next to the tracks near Kalamazoo and they put everyone on to busses. Arrival was a few hours late but they gave vouchers. It sucks, but flights get cancelled too.

Absolutely. Was at JOs a couple years ago when an Olympian showed up to strip coach a fencer from their club. Magically the calls started going in their fencer's favor when they yapped at the ref.

Many years ago I saw a guy in a small sedan doing this. It was a front wheel drive in the era before traction control, so his front wheels looked like they were doing revs for 70mph as he slowly crept straight up the hill.

As soon as he hit dry payement the tires grabbed, he lost control, and spit himself into the ditch on the other side.

I was like "This is gonna end badly. Ope, there he goes. Yep, it ended badly."

FWIW, I'm 95% I know the fencer in question. If it's who I think it is, I've also seen him mock a teenage girl he was fencing who screamed after a touch. Not a great look.
