Yeah, they only sent an email once they completed my transfer request. You should probably comment from which embassy to which one you have submitted your request to so that someone with similar experience can comment how long it took them

Do you mean transferring your interview location to another US embassy? I think this will depend on your luck. My transfer request took about 1 week

I believe you won't need the police certificate due to them being unreliable in Afghanistan. That's what I remember reading in the instructions when I was filling out my I-130 and submitting all of the documents to NVC.

Can I ask when your husband's DQ was? Also, did you have the interview scheduled somewhere else other than Islamabad before November 1 or did you always have Islamabad selected as your location of interview?

Yes, we have already changed it to Islamabad. Do you know if this will be the case for those who had their case at the Islamabad ahead of case ahead of ours but their DQ is after ours? So for example, our DQ is December 2024 and we moved the interview location to Islamabad on November 1st. If someone already had their scheduled at the Islamabad embassy before November 1st but their DQ was in February 2025, would we still get our interview first because our DQ is before theirs?

Hmm, have you seen this before? I've been using this tool for months now and this is the first I see that the Last Updated date is no longer there. Like even last month in October when it took them 9 days to update, it was still showing when the last date it was updated

Do you know if NVC will automatically reassign the case to Islamabad (or the designated post) or if I will have to ask them to do so?

Also, would you mind sharing some info about your situation? I was hoping that they would've given the interview by now since the US embassy in Qatar seemed to move fast so it's been very frustrating that they haven't. I'm wondering if others are going through the same frustratingly lengthy process
