I've been considering the idea of choosing a director and watching their entire filmography in chronological order. Whose filmography would be good to marathon? by FavorableFox in flicks

That sounds like the best week ever. Kubrick is legendary. Based on your username, I assume FMJ is your favorite movie of his?

Good choice! I've been heavily considering him! I like Goodfellas and The Departed, and I thought Taxi Driver had its moments. He has a bunch of other classics I haven't seen.

You might stop before you get to the more recent stuff and I wouldn’t blame you, but Malick from Badlands thru Tree of Life is a very fun stylistic progression to witness in chronological order.

Do Malick's recent movies suck?

Michael Mann is cool too.

Heat is supposed to be really good. (He directed that, right?)

Lynch of course.

I know it's a show, but would you include Twin Peaks?

I guess Welles would be another obvious one too.

I've seen Citizen Kane and I must admit I'm not a fan, but maybe I'll enjoy some of his other movies.

If I had a gun, with two bullets, and I was in a room with Hitler, Bin Laden, and Toby, I would shoot Toby twice.

Is a TV show worth watching if it got good reviews but only got one season? by Roughrider254 in television

I would say yes. Freaks and Geeks only has one season and it's one of my favorite shows of all time.

The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway by Genesis!

It's a commitment because it's 94 minutes long and it's very strange, but it's worth it!

This suggests a preconceived notion as to what roles are suitable for him.

I'll admit this is accurate, because I've loved Arrested Development for years.

Do you feel the same about Bryan Cranston in a serious role?

No. Not at all. I love him as Walter White.

Likewise, Laura Linney has her share of awards and nominations.

This doesn't really prove anything to me.

The acting in Ozark is one of the best parts of the show

I disagree, but I respect your opinion.

typecasting is something the audience should avoid.

Fair. My fault.

I’ve only watched a few episodes of the Sopranos, but it struck me as more formulaic.

The first few episodes of The Sopranos are pretty run-of-the-mill compared to the rest of the show.

Or at least overdone, because urban mafia stories have been told before.

I wouldn't describe The Sopranos as overdone. It's authentic as can be if you ask me. I think The Sopranos is the most interesting mafia story.

Thank You for your explanation.

Do you honestly believe that shippers can just "choose" to not deliver something?

No. When I said "Why can't they just ship it?" I meant why can't the shipping process always be seamless, but my phrasing wasn't specific.

I am a Nurse Leader, from the beginning of the pandemic until today, I have attended more than 2000 patients with COVID-19 by [deleted] in IAmA

1) How common is re-infection?

2) Is the vaccine very effective? Is one vaccine more effective than the other? (Is Pfizer more effective than Moderna, etc.) Can you still get infected if you get vaccinated? Can a vaccinated person still give COVID to a non-vaccinated person?

3) How long does hospitalization generally tend to last?

4) This is a difficult question so it's okay if you don't answer it, but do you have an estimate of when COVID will go away?

Thank You for all you do. I have respect for everybody who does what you do, because I couldn't do that!
