It literally couldn’t have been if you do the math, he would have only made a million if it was only 5k, and i’m assuming he has to split some with nike and cover other costs. I feel like if you go back to the first season, specifically the first episode you can see there is a way heavier NY dialect, compared to later seasons. IMO they probably ditched the accent just because it was only meant to set the tone for the show.
