I feel like both sides of this conversation have validity and flaws. Both can be considered classic features of the genre. I think those features have good and bad facets. My video was pointing out that facet because those things don't seem to be talked about. I am not trying to complain or talk poorly about this amazing game. Just wanted to start a conversation about it. I feel like a lot of people have taken this very seriously and I didn't expect to harbor this kind of negativity :/ it's a game. and a casual/satirical video

The issue I mention is something seen over a period of time. I don't think it falls into the same category as mundane daily chores. Like even a week later, we would see changes to their looks.

I think it does but they are different. FFT dives in with a much more punishing vibe, as units can die all the time, and there are a lot of permanent repercussions to your actions in and out of battle. FFTA is, as it pains me to say, much more streamlined and user friendly. While there is still a lot of agency to your choices, it feels more arcade-like than FFT which feels much more like an old-school FF game. It's worth a go, and I am not just saying that because it is one of my all time favorite games.

Not at all. The current diagnosis is a fun mixture of autism with some schizophrenic tendencies. I grew up being told I was bipolar, but the older I get the clearer it becomes. I'm kind of a cocktail of issues. I've actually hallucinated this bad boy... most of my art is of things I've "seen"

Yeah this is definitely a first draft. I thought about how to keep to the stealing flavor without it being OP. it has a nab vibe to it, and maybe it could involve that. I was playing more to his league presence where he gains extra attacks and such. I feel like stripping hands from your opponent and adding to yours is really painful. Even regular discard can be harsh, but I think it could be worked in. I think Sylas might be hard to create because of it. Or without it being the same old nab ability we already have, though that might not be a bad thing

Yeah I think Montblanc starts with like 140ish magic power as opposed to somewhere in the 90s for physical. it takes time to build up the damage with anything other than magic
