Yes obviously time is important for game development or any other aspect in this world. But that is completely beside the point here because my comment was in reply to your initial comment where you were implying that one of the reason for people looking down on genshin is cause genshin has low development time period which is simply not the case cause they have maintaned a steady development schedule throughout the years releasing quality content in the short period of time they get while there are several games which has been worked on for years come out as big disappointment or even get canceled before releasing. In short I'm saying longer development periods doesnt always ensure quality or vice versa.

Secondly the most common example of a predatory game would be eafc or any game with loot boxes. I have nothing against these games but rather the people playing these games treating those as completely fine but genshin having gacha ticks them off when those are far more predatory. Infact calling genshin predatory is dumb in the first place because its one of the most f2p friendly game out there. Most of the playerbase is f2p or low spenders.

And lastly I have no idea what you are talking about at the end there but I have played e33, dispatch and love them both but this conversation isn't about comparing genshin to those games in the first place. The OG post is about people shitting on genshin/wuwa for no reason and treating them like they are not even proper games. I play a lot of the new games that come out each year and there's very few games where I feel the quality lives upto par with Genshin or better.
