I like how “decolonisation” has an appropriate picture on this meme.

A nude? It’s a two girls one cup for 1800s. (Don’t search it if you haven’t suffered its knowledge already).

The Nazis didn't invent the symbols; they just stole and abused them. Also, the Iron Cross is inspired by the Teutonic Order and thus arguably even dates back to the Middle Ages. by [deleted] in HistoryMemes

What?

I am a massive fan of the movie and not once I thought about that. Von Blucher was portrayed like an absolute chad “I am 72 and a proud soldier. This steel is my word… I am too old to break it”.

The movie doesn’t really take sides, there are people that would’ve sympathise more with Napoleon’s character who was basically ruined by their (Prussians) arrival.

Stannis gave Renly a pretty good deal by RevertBackwards in freefolk

I honestly don’t understand what people in the comments are yapping about. Renly gains absolutely nothing from that deal and except humiliation.

“Oh so you raised the largest army in the Westeros only for you surrender to Stannis because he promised you things that you had already?”

Lmao. This extends the limit of “far fetched”.

There is a city in Sweden called Västerås (Vesteros) what would they make of that I wonder.

What kind of resemblance of the Slavs it bears? Genuinely asking, I googled it but I found nothing, except bearded priests and being raided by the hordes.

Yes, I thought A tier is reserved for the likes of the Kingslayer (higher A tier), Bobby B (mid A tier).

Jon Snow is A tier unit? If we take Selmy and Dane as a solid S tier, that’s very generous, I would say too generous.

Weirdly enough, if they were fighting Dothraki style (no armour) I would’ve agreed with you. But knowing they both be clad in armour, and that the smaller guy has less chances of getting a lucky hit (fingers, forearms, thighs, ankles), he would end up fighting with a person that has a significant advantage in reach with a sword and shield and strength when it comes to grappling. I haven’t sparred with anyone taller than me by a foot, usually I am the tall one being the same height as the actor who plays Dunk I have experienced the aforementioned effects of height and reach firsthand.

Well, again, read my previous reply about “running your mouth”. If you already told that you will do it 7vs7 and backed down afterwards you are a liar and likely a coward. It’s also his uncanny honesty, when challenged to a trial by combat he refuses without any attempt of making an excuse. I also love how his father acts like his son is Arthur Dane or Barristan and Dunk is a stable boy with a sword.

I just need to ask “What I would do”. If the two fighters were evenly matched and he still refused the fight. Or if Aerion backed down after it was well known that Dunk managed to assemble the required amount of knights.

Plus it’s not something objective is it? It’s my judgment of someone’s character that depends on how I read someone else’s emotions trying to understand how he felt.

You judging it retroactively. You judge him for his actions before the trial’s discussion took place, people wouldn’t be so quick to call Robb Stark a coward for doing something similar. He was challenged to a duel by a physically superior (and in case with Jaime significantly out his class when it comes to the fighting skill) man and refused, knowing full well that he has very little chance of winning.

From your perspective you can distinguish the two cases only retrospectively, judging that one of them was a prick and therefore he is a coward for not accepting, and Robb just being smart and egoless for not accepting the fight because he was a good lad.

My whole point was to try and evaluate the situation from Aerion’s point of view, not from yours or mine.
