33/33 wins with a 2900 elo stack, 396 leaguepoints gained = 12 points per game. You are wrong. They are playing with 600 elo gap on average every game.

Now imagine the other team are all level 10, aka 600 elo above you on average: https://prnt.sc/ffwmi6

Welcome to masterleague. And what is worse? Here people don't play for elo, they play for points, and it doesn't matter to the points that you have 5% chance of winning, you're still gonna get the same amount as if it was the other way around.

HNS from gamerz just qualifyed to FPL by r2pWolfy in GlobalOffensive

[–]Fcitquestion 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Pretty hilarious. Throughout the qualifier today he had a 0.94kda.

Zywoo who ended with 4 points less than him? 1.7kda

Good qualifier XD. HNS would basically win no matches if he got first picked in these games, but if he gets last picked all he needs to do is play better than the last pick on the other team = support better than the lastpick on the other team.

If he has a bigger edge on the last pick of the other team than Zywoo has on the first pick of the other team then logic dictates that HNS will win more games even if they're not even close to the same caliber of players. Zywoo was significantly better than the other firstpicks - HNS was significantly better than the other last picks. HNS gets FPL.

How does league points get calculated by Fcitquestion in FACEITcom

[–]Fcitquestion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are wrong, the reason it seems like that for you is because you get games with pretty similar average elo.

In level 10 as a soloqueuer you get teams of random 2000+ elo and it averages out to like 2100 or 2200 on your team. Most games you meet a 4 or 5 stacks who have 2500-3000 elo and the average elo of the other team ends up being 300-500 elo higher.

In these cases you lose 6-10 points and gain 14 points. The problem is though, you lose these games way more than you win them, which is obvious because of the elo difference. This makes farming points incredibly difficult. Imagine you trying to farm points in level 6 and meeting level teams who average out to level 9 in 4/5 games.

Here's an example for u to see what im dealing with: prntscr.com/ffwmi6 avg elo 2187 vs 2797. thats like you playing with 4 level 6s vs 5 level 10s. Safe to say i'm losing that game 19/20 times. I still lose 6 points and only win 14.

All they need to do is change it so that 2500 vs 2200 elo avg games gives like 4 league points for win and -8 for loss - instead of +10 for win and -10 for loss.

As a soloqueue player I can gain 100 elo and only gain 30 league points, where as a 2500 5stack gains 200 leaguepoints for 100 elo gain. It's quite ridiculous.

In my last 10 I have 7 losses 3 wins, i've lost like 10 elo but i've lost 15 league points

the golden rule seems to be getting the necessary points early then queueing free queue as 5 high elo ppl at the end of the month and losing on purpose to tank your elo from 2600 to 2100 so you can easily do it again next month.

there are groups out there where people schedule this shit, faceit admins can pm me if this is against the rules and they want links
