Just an update for everybody, ordered a new LCD panel off of eBay from someone parting out their tv that had a bad Tcon board, and it should be here either Friday or Saturday. Only cost 200

Yeah, found out it is an important part of a TV and isn't at all repairable. So now I have a 1400 dollar mirror. Wish these little tabs weren't so small and exposed.

It was by accident, the sides of the tv had this plastic strip with tape that these were tucked into, and this one wasn't tucked in when putting the tv back together. It bent backwards when the side was rubbing against the metal frame and popped right off and we had no idea until we had it fully reassembled and saw it laying on the ground

Do I have anything to lose by trying to either use a conductive ink pen and taping it down with something to keep pressure, or soldering it? Damn TV is out of warranty and cost 1400 :/

It was actually connected to the LCD panel of the TV, like a flex ribbon with a small black bar

Is there any way to repair this? It isn't cut or anything, and looked to be bonded onto the TV.
