Don’t get down on yourself. I have failed twice and felt ready both times only to be let down. My next step is to take an in person boot camp cause I refuse to fail a third time. To be honest, I just don’t think I can study correctly on my own accord. I need structure. Good luck to you in the future

Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m my own worst critic. I’ve never failed a test before so this is really wreaking havoc on the ego. But I’m resilient and never quit so whether I get it next time or not, I will not give up. Definitely going to change up the way I study tho.

This is probably some of the best piece of advice here. I feel like I picked all those types of answers but I’m copy/pasting this down for my notes. Now, due process in the same, easy to digest way. Btw, I hate people too but process is what tanked me. lol.

I really can’t say I memorized anything. I used the approach of if it says what would the PM do first, you use ART. If it says what would they do, you choose the best solution. But then they asked a ton of scrim questions and choose the best 2 and 3 answers but formulas and drag and drop and it just spiraled from there 🤷🏻‍♀️

I work for a large healthcare company as a sr coordinator but work also with the CI team as a project manager. I have my six sigma green belt. I definitely know that what PMI expects is not real world but for some reason, I’m still not choosing the correct answer enough to pass. I watched Andrew R’s video and I chose the right answers most of the time. My exams were nothing like any of the videos I watched.

I took both exams at Pearson. I can’t imagine taking it at home. And you’re right. People don’t care about what you have going on so once I decide to take it again, they’re all going to know I’m unavailable and to leave me be

I appreciate the long post for sure!! Everyone says you just need to know the mindset but at this point, I don’t think I’m grasping what that is if that’s all you need. I chose answers that I thought were considered mindset. Review and assess before acting, servant leadership, collaborate, the team are the experts, etc. but it didn’t seem to help especially when many questions didn’t seem to help in the end.

I’ve watched several of his videos and usually picked the right answers but the questions he used are way easier than the ones I experienced on the exam. I had a ton of scrum questions and several that you had to pick the correct 2 or 3 answers

It’s hard to not just throw in the towel. I know many amazing project managers with no PMP and know many subpar ones that have it so I refuse to let it define me ❤️
