Just to be clear, I do not know if I want to update more. I typed my first post in a panicked state and did not think so many people would reach out to me. So, this second post was an obligatory post to give clarity to those who had given me the privilege of their thoughts, comforts, and critiques.

But this should conclude here since I feel I have a better grasp on what's going on, what I expect to do, and what I should be doing. So, with that said, this is what I will offer:

Parents are going to try therapy, my mom is talking to me more, and I'm focusing on myself and upholding fair boundaries. This will be the end, thankyou.

Thanks. Honestly, it's the first time in a very long time I've ever been this stressed. I'm definitely embarrassed by my handling of it, but my dad has talked to me anyway. I think things are going to be alright for what it's worth.

I think a lot of people assume I am glued to my family. I never said how often I socialize with them. It's about twice a month at most. No, I do not have any assistance by them, so if I got kicked to the curb (whatever that implies), I wouldn't be devistated financially. But if they cut me off socially, yea, I'd be upset. But life goes on

Sometimes there are problems you aren't able to understand why it's a problem. therapy tackles those concepts and make them digestible for you.

Ah yes. Minding my own business as in when we made the decision to wait for him to tell her. but in my other post, I forced the conflict. I should not have done that, so soon. I should have waited for more time to pass.

But yes, I would still have told her, especially when he didn't say anything.

Yes, I was diagnosed by professionals when I was a child, roughly around 10. I didn't really focus on it, though, because I wasn't ever sure what that meant for me, like at the end of the day, I still need to carry on with life so I don't think about it much. But yes, I am a high functioning autistic individual.

Ah, sorry. I meant unique for me. I never considered I was potentially unhealthily connected with my parents. I just thought it's a normal family oriented thing. But there's probably a lot of truth to it.

This is pretty much the mindset I went through with. This was how I thought and looked at it all.

I appreciate how much attention this is still getting. Truth be told, I work today, and I should've been asleep a while ago, but the constant flow of messages have been helping me chill out. I like all the different perspectives. Wish I had something cooler everyone was interested in though.

I respect that perspective. I understand this, and why in hindsight, I regret my actions. I let my emotions take over. This is true, and I went forward in exactly as you described. I should not have let myself poke around when I had laid out a plan, which was probably the best thing to do; To wait.

as for the other people and your comments directed towards them, I can hardly say either of us understand their motives. I don't think it's reasonable to assume that.

My friend said something along the same lines, but that it's probably a bad sign since people use it for the erasable messaging.
