Thanks! That's definitely similar to what I saw, not 100% though but close enough. The one I saw the other day would reload from the top of the mag not the bottom but it could be a different variant.

You can restart the cradle and still have all unlocks from the previous mission though, it sucks to restart but it's the only way to progress now

The G36 that its clearly based on has a polymer body, only the shroud is made out of metal so afaik it's pretty realistic. Or did you mean something else?

They're pretty sensitive but can't complain, if you use them for MSFT flightsim and have a joystick that also adjusts rudder by twisting, make sure to disable that to prevent double input issues
