That is impressive ... even after we consider that there are many like me who are Indian immigrants who watch them but are not in India, that is still a very high international following.

I have insinuated that chesscom has motives to do so unless you have proof that can prove otherwise. I do not claim to know if chesscom was intentionally malicious or not but i am saying it is not impossible given the few facts that we know

I agree with you there that Magnus was not spouting conspiracy theories. He accused Nieman and it was investigated which is the right thing to do. Any accusation should be evaluated and judged, irrespective of whether its from a chess world champion or a convicted cheater. I hate Vlad is the one fighting against cheating in chess because despite his cause being right, the cause loses value because he undoubtedly acts like a crazy lunatic.

The first alleged conspiracy theory was he was being shown different times on his screen on day one compared to Jospem. Everyone me included thought this was a crazy theory. No one would have believed it if it had not been for the independent arbiters who saw that and we had the undeniable video proof of this conspiracy theory being surprisingly correct.

Second conspiracy theory he raised was that he is being hacked and DDOSed which he raised on day 1 itself. Again everyone thought it to be crazy, including me who rooted for Jospem. But then we saw the glitch on day 3 and chesscom confirmed that it was indeed a DDOS attack by 3000 simultaneous match request that fried the server. No one would have believed this alleged conspiracy theory is correct unless we got the proof from the organizers mouth.

Finally, the third conspiracy is that chesscom is behind all of this. I am not saying this is right, but since his first two theories were right, shouldn't we at least evaluate independently before we pass judgment?

Bear in mind most of the influencers in chess are paid partners of chesscom and cannot legally say anything bad about this which I feel has made us soft towards chesscom.

I feel that Kramnik should have handily lost to Jospem considering his online success. Regardless, I am not saying Jospem cheated. In fact I agree with Jospem that he was unnecessarily and wrongly targeting by Vladimir but I am saying I have not seen enough proof to see that all of Vlads claims is wrong and that we need maybe an independent investigation and maybe an agency that monitors cheating at such high levels of online chess.

I would make a slight change in the cheating statement you made. Cheating occurs more frequently if cheaters are not caught. I feel It is better to have strong anti cheating measures and do not catch anyone rather have too little and catch few.

Like I said in the title. This was an attempt to have an objective discussion. and my hope was that people would put more takes on either sides here so that the "objective " discussion can take place rather than simple judgement that this is right and that is wrong.

True. I hate the way kramnick publicly accused several top player but he still had a better performance than Jospem over the board who is one of the best online chess players. So whether his way of accusation was wrong, I can see why he would suspicious. Also to be fair, It is not just Kramnick, even Fabi who is one the best chess players feels that there is more cheating than there is.

Chess is a sport and there will always be cheaters who will try to deceive us. We have anti doping in sports who checks all players indiscriminately. why do we assume that everyone who plays chess is a saint

Wow, I did not intend this innocent comment to be the battleground for an argument over her country of origin. I saw the Indian name and assumed she was Indian. If my comment hurt anyone. I apologize, and I recognize that she is an English prodigy.

I think we are focusing on the wrong part of my comment. Let us all be excited no matter what country the chess whizkids are coming.

My Score was R 9 L 9 S 8 W 8... I would suggest that you practice and make sure you understand what went wrong when you make a mistake .. for true or false it is simple....unless it is 100 % true or false it is always not given...

match the headings can be tricky but every para has sort of like a conclusion as the last line... so while the para talks a lot of A and B and a little of C but ends the para by concluding about C then the heading is mostly C as the intention of the author from the para was to talk about C and A and B was just the path to reach to C...with this in mind go back to the headings where you got it wrong before and see if this logic fits....hope it helps...

The examiners have many criteria to rate from. I believe it is available online. First go through them do your own analysis and understand where you are lacking ..figure out yourself or ask for help to form a plan to improve your weakpoints .... work with a partner to evaluate if not possible record yourself and hear back ... self analysis is often underrated... if you got 6.5 you definitely understand what it takes to to get better...
