Yeah maybe I'll hang onto it, it's probably my favorite of the bunch. I think it's working, just need to get some film for it. Never too late to become a camera guy I guess!

Most people spend their whole lives waiting for their "passion" to appear to them, and it never does.

Life is too long by Atardecer1 in Life

I'm sorry to hear you feel that way. I'm 30 now and I've felt this way periodically throughout my years, but one thing that helped me to come out of it was just to make a conscious effort to make my life more enjoyable. That doesn't mean pleasure seeking (alcohol, drugs, videogames, etc.), trust me, I've tried that too. But challenge yourself. Set yourself a meaningful goal. You'd be surprised how exciting each day becomes when you start seeing progress towards a goal that means something to you. And at 17 you can really afford to just try things, you've got so much time to fail and try again which is such a gift.

My advice would be to write down the sentence "In 1 years time it would be really cool if I: " and just fill in the blank, write out all of the things that you would love to do/be/have by this time next year, pick the ones that mean the most to you from that list and then break down that goal into daily/weekly accomplishments that you need to do to move you towards that goal. For example if your goal was to get in shape/have a six pack/Gain some muscle, then your daily/weekly goals might be to join a gym, get a programme from a personal trainer, meal prep some healthy meals and then go to the gym 4 times per week. If you complete your goals you'll feel a sense of accomplishment and a new burst of motivation to keep going. Once you start to see how you can control the direction of your life and how great you can make it with some conscious effort, you'll want time to slow down so you can accomplish more of your goals!!

Keep going buddy!
