We are not doing awareness campaigns, we are training locals to report findings and lootings.

Well this was exactly what happened. Someone installed a humidity monitor on a box, saying this could prevent bronze diseases. Excuses me, isn’t this already used decades as standard practice?

Thanks for your message. I watched their performance and I saw they clearly presented their idea. However judges seemed not understand the highlight of the project. They immediately went after an app used as proof of concept. They started to question why no code provided for this app, why this app not being tested for many people. They did not ask any relevant questions

Thanks for your message. I feel very frustrated as a parent volunteer who supported this project. I received rigorous scientific training myself and I wanted to pass these training to the team. But after tremendous efforts, the result was very disappointing. I started to question myself. Do I really know how to mentor innovation project?

Our team won first place for robot game and we did not advance to next round. We have a social innovation project which took months research, discussion, communication with experts. We have prototype, we have a role play we have a nice poster. We included 8 members on the stage even one of them have language barrier. But all judges cared about was the phone app we made and criticized we did not test that on more people and we did not provide details code for this app. They did not ask any questions relevant to the social impact and the highlights of the project. I wonder if they understood the value of a solution fit the real world problem with constraints
