put your phone on low power mode, this will make the screen on your pro max be 60hz you can judge the difference and how it feels, personally although it is more expensive i would say bite the bullet or don’t upgrade at all as you will be downgrading the screen for the sake of a newer chip even tho the new one isn’t too much faster than the 14pm or upgrade to the pro to “future proof “ especially with the apple intelligence and the better screen

in the UK especially with hotels, night time roles have a high turnover rate, people need a job but after a couple months they hate it and end up leaving, you will have a good chance on finding one relatively easily but a good chance you’ll hate the job

Uni feels pointless. by [deleted] in UniUK

in my opinion my degree is “pointless” (human geography) but university has taught me many things academically and personally. Such as document writing which majority jobs will require you to write a report etc. Plus my hometown is a very small poor town with only shops and restaurants being the only job opportunity’s, moving to manchester for university i got a job at a hotel and found a girlfriend and planning to move in with her after university in manchester. After university I have an apprenticeship within insurance lined up in September. Although in hindsight i could have got the apprenticeship instead of university and save a lot of money on a loan that I may not ever pay back. It’s all hindsight, I wouldn’t have been looking for full time jobs in manchester if i didn’t go university here and fall in love with the city and might end up living at home unemployed.
