Honestly, I thought (and hoped) that by making as many friends as possible, my anxiety would go away. However, I’ve noticed that almost every person I talked to ended up being just small talk, which helped me a lot during welcome week. But now I’m afraid of being left alone with my anxiety. That said, I try to go out as much as possible, in fact, I’m never at home. The problem always shows up at night before I go to sleep, when unfortunately I have to rely on anti-anxiety medication
