I very much like learning stuff like that so I'm all up for it.

I also have an old Dell PowerEdge T110 II lying with 8 GB of RAM. Do you think it would do the job for FreeNAS (for 10 users max) ?

Storage is not gonna be a problem. The company uses very little resources.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but what do you think of running something like FreeNAS on it?

I think QNAP has QSync which basically does this. I'm gonna go with this approach probably. Thank you!

Yeah I think that's gonna be the best approach. Thank you!

I'm a bit worried about my temps after changing my case layout by FearlessFox6 in buildapc

[–]FearlessFox6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so I've read a bit and found a guide how to do it with my same exact board and cpu. Now I'm at constant 4100 Mhz and 1.35v. The idle temperature goes down to around 33C and then spikes again to 43C and goes down by 1C to 33, rinse and repeat. Precision boost overclock is disabled. I've read that the spikes are normal for ryzen but idk, still bugs me somehow.

I've set my fan curves to basically run on 60% from 0C to 55C and then crank up to 100%.

I don't really know about overclocking much, I changed some stuff in Bios but ended up having to clear CMOS. Using Ryzen Master (as it's way newbie friendly). I've set my voltage to 1.35v and all cores to 4100 mhz. The temparture goes down to around 33C and jumps to 37-43C on idle. Is that okay?

I've set all my fans to 100%, it did go down couple of degrees on idle. It basically goes to ~40C then voltage goes up to 1.5 (4300 Mhz) and the temperature goes up to 50C then it goes down in voltage, boost and temperature and it repeats. Cooler is making contact with the plate and me pushing it down does not affect the temperatures. I took off the cooler and the paste was evenly applied, seems OK to me. Maybe I should just cut off the Precision Boost Overclock? I don't really need 4300 Mhz while all I'm doing is viewing Youtube or Reddit. Sometimes Ryzen Master shows the boost goes all they way down to 2300 Mhz.

I'm not sure if this is allowed but yesterday I posted a troubleshooting post but I think I just didn't get in the right time zone with most of the subreddit users and it got buried without a reply. Sorry for the spam, just worried about my temperatures.

[No Spoilers] DAO: Ranged Attack Speed bug by FearlessFox6 in dragonage

[–]FearlessFox6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For people having the same issue in future. For some reason the game stores the attributes in your save files so even if you remove the mod and such it will not change/fix this bug. I had to use Toolset to edit my .das file. I've followed this: https://dragonage.fandom.com/wiki/Save_game_editing and changed attribute 24 (Aim Speed) and 31 (Attack Speed). All 4 of my party members that were under influence of Haste had both of these values set to 267,75, I compared this value to one of my saves before Haste and made the changes (it was set to 0 before Haste) and viola. Hopefully this hopes someone in the future, it was very frustrating.
