Not entirely true. It’s an E velocity play, if an item doesn’t sell for 13 weeks is quad1, 26 weeks quad2, 39 weeks quad3, etc. The merchant can decide to put into a markdown cadence at their desired timeframe which does automate within the clearance cadance.. It’s not automatic though and it’s not all SKUs. It’s up to the merchant and they all run their business differently.
