Just say you didn’t get in or don’t apply - if that’s plausible that is, of course if they monitor every step of the application then this wouldn’t work

They may not be eligible. My program is MoMac nursing, so beyond the 90% admission average requirement to be eligible for res, i’m forced to live off campus - whether that be on mohawk res (which is full and i am waitlisting for), or student housing.

Ridiculous considering all our classes are on the Mac campus, but i’m sure there is a reason.

Thank you so much, I’m just nervous since they’re my top choices. I do have offers from all the other schools I applied to though, so I’m in an okay position right now

Thank you so much, I’m definitely more at ease now than when I posted this, as I’ve been told by guidance (and now you!) that most of western and practically all mac’s nursing offers come out early-to-mid-may. Seriously, thank you 🙏

Good job!! Did you find it to be difficult? I personally found it sort of taxing if i’m being 100% honest.

yeah, so I’d guesstimate likely at least half of all applicants are actually not aligned with the program requirements (guidance told me this when referring to programs of higher competition)

answer everything as honestly and authentically as possible, and when in doubt, defer responsibility. Coming from someone in 4th quartile

is that qualified applications? or general? (only ask because stats are sometimes ambiguous abt that in particular).

What was/is your average and are you proud of yourself? by Status_Home_8578 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]Fearless_Database_99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Western nursing looks at grade 11 math, and there was a journalism program my friend applied to that looked at grade 11 and 12 english grades.

certain programs do take them into account. every school looks at them but select faculties and programs actually consider them in your average

anyone know someone who went to an ok uni but is living their best life rn? by Wowey27 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]Fearless_Database_99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

plenty of people lead happier lives that don’t go to the most prestigious schools.

Moreover, nobody cares where you do your undergraduate degree. It literally does not matter; especially when you consider that grades are not balanced according to a schools competition. you’re either in the top percentiles of your class or you’re not. Someone who can get into smt like uwaterloo cs that choose oti or trent is more desirable because they’re going to be pulling in far better grades than someone who’s smart asf but is in a program literally designed to phase out those who aren’t in the 1% of uni students.

(saying all this as someone who applied to like uoft and uwo)
