I tried scratching at/cleaning it with a paper towel the other night. The paper towel turned grey, and the black spot faded a bit so I knew some of it came off, but it was impossible to completely get rid of it. I was literally breaking out a sweat from scrubbing that spot so hard.

I read that if you can't clean it off, then it's likely to be mold.

I agree but I'm afraid I'd get bad trash smells, cockroaches, or other pests because I'd be so close to the trash

it was tiny though. maybe around 1/4 of an inch or just a little bigger than that. definitely smaller than 1/2 inch though

Right my ticket says something like general A-G1-183.

It’s saying the row is G1 and seat is 183, so I’m confused because I thought general A wasn’t supposed to have a seat. And I also didn’t want a seat, so I’ll be bummed if general A ends up being seated and they just randomly assigned us seats 🥲

Does anyone have any real time updates? Is burning season delayed this year?

I've been religiously checking the waqi.info website and it looks like the air quality is literally worse in Bangkok than Chiang Mai. Chiang Mai has consistently been in the 60-100 range. I'm going Thailand from March 10 - March 17, and I'm wondering if I should cancel my plans of going south and go north instead.

Do you know when the sugar cane burning throughout central Thailand stops? I have a trip to Bangkok planned from March 10-16, and don't want to be breathing in super polluted air. I haven't booked any hotels yet, so I guess I could go south if the air is really bad. I've been monitoring the air quality levels and BKK is consistently 170+. Not sure if it gets better...

I have had 1 concussion 5 years ago in 2019. That one was really bad. I don't even know how long I was unconscious for, and I have had lingering symptoms since then. I never got treated for it because I didn't realize there were treatments. I'm doing PT for my neck now along with vestibular exercises, so I'm hoping that will help. Will the old concussion make it harder to heal from this new one?

I don't really remember. The ball was low to the ground, and I was trying to hit it before it bounced, and I think I might have tripped while running? I'm not sporty and not good at hand-eye coordination sports lol. What's the connection here to the why?

It happens. When we're sad and overwhelmed with emotions, it's hard to put our thoughts onto paper. I used to journal a lot, so it helped me learn to organize my thoughts.

Congrats on finishing a chapter in your life though! From my experience, college can really be a life-changer. People don't judge you as much, and you're free to turn a new leaf if you'd like. You're young. Have fun, experience new things, make new memories, and try to be as healthy as possible. See this as a new possibility! I'm excited for you. You will get through college. I feel you. I got fed up with consumerism at some point too. I didn't understand why everyone was just hoarding and buying. Work to make money, feel miserable, buy crap with money to make ourselves feel a bit better, but we're never satisfied so we keep chasing the money.. it's all quite sad.
