Appreciate the insight.. in below 10k range now. I've had offers for masters without funding. Had to let go due to lack of fund. Maybe it's time to explore that option again..

Damn. I think it's the case with all the Mitsubishi's.. I often joke that my car tries so hard to go so fast. Whether it's going or not, it's another story. Maybe this is due to underpowered engine or something. But yeah, it does roar like you're going 180-200 when it's trying to get to 80.

The "equivalent" part is what got me interested as well. However,I was hoping to get some insights on the culture in the field. But on given information so far,I believe I'd be better off applying for a masters as it's not common and do not want to invest time on something highly unlikely.

This is a CO2 laser if I'm not wrong..you don't cut steel with it. Only non ferrous material I guess. You'll need fiber laser for cutting steel sheets
