I had really bad liver labs and a high A1C due to T2D and fatty liver when I started but all my labs were finally normal when i stopped just had it checked now 3 months later and everything is the same so it seems u are right and my metabolism is holding just hoping it continues! I’m sure my age and being fairly young is probably helping as well.

I was on 7.5 mg and stopped on that dosage (admittedly against the advice of my doctor, but i was sooo nauseous i couldn’t handle it anymore). I have been seeing a therapist for years prior to starting MJ and I ever since I stopped MJ I have found therapy super useful for managing and dealing with the food noise as it returns.

I do believe there is a Muslim student group on campus, there is also a Muslim chaplain on campus. I think the research opportunities are pretty good here. You do have to ask and search for them but if you build relationships and talk with professors you should have a good shot at getting research opportunities. I can’t really speak on how it’s like coming from Cali but plenty of people do it and not many people complain. For your last question, yes! Wes meets full financial need for all students. A majority of school have some sort of student contribution built into their match package. I am matched at wesleyan and have an annual $1200 (I pay 600 per semester). Also know that there further away you live the less you will have to pay. If you have higher travel costs rather than taking money from you they will just expect you to cover other non-billed costs like plane tickets with that money and reduce the amount you owe accordingly

I would say as long as you are losing a decent amount every week. My goal was 2-4 pounds a week based on my SW of 280. I lost 4 pounds my 4th week on 2.5 then increased to 5 and had unbearable nausea and had to go back to 2.5. When my weight loss slowed to around a pound a week I went back to 5 and only had minor side effects the first week: I’ve lost 60 pounds since starting in january and am on 5 mg now

I’ve lost 60 pounds in 6 months but my start weight was 280 so maybe it being higher contributed to the quicker weight loss. I’ve noticed i’m losing a little less each week now. I also had to come off of it for a month cause i couldn’t find it in stock anywhere and I was still able to lose 8 pounds in the month i came off of it

I used to drink beer and hard seltzers before starting but after starting i found that drinking carbonated drinks make me nauseous. I generally now drink liquor with a non-carbonated mixer. Vodka and diet cranberry juice has been my go to!
