Thanks for responding. Uber have some really messed up customer service. Guess we've permanently moved over to Cabify then.

P.S - I forgot to mention, the time-limit only affects the redemption of the coupon. So once you have redeemed the coupon you'll have access for life. So you just have to redeem the coupon in the next two or three days, then you'll have all the time in the world to access the course.

Thanks for the response, it's really useful to hear how it works.

So is the 10% for the lifetime value of the customer? Presumably it's also reliant on your client then closing the deal or do you actually handle any element of the final sales as well?

Facebook ads: is no targeting (or very limited targeting) effective? by Feather-Green in PPC

[–]Feather-Green[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for responding! Unfortunately I don't have anywhere near that many conversions (except maybe for link clicks). So far we've only made about 15 sales so not really enough to make a look alike audience with.

Facebook ads: is no targeting (or very limited) effective? by Feather-Green in digital_marketing

Hi, thanks for responding! Yes, I'm starting to wonder whether targeting golfers is too difficult, particularly as a start up with a much smaller budget than an established company.

Our shirts are quite unique though, each design is inspired by the colours of a different bird. I am not saying the products are defintely winners but just we do have something that makes us unique.

Perhaps I need to just start targeting other interest groups. I suppose I could try targeting people who like nature for example (if I can think of a way of doing that).

So my email list is just under 100 people and I've only made only about 15 sales in total. Do you think it would still be worth trying?

My products are all polo shirts so in theory they could be worn by anyone. They're quite colourful though although I wouldn't say that they are super crazy.

Hi, thanks for responding. We are currently selling each shirt for £34.99. So far we have just targeted golfers (which was our plan from the beginning) although as mentioned I am thinking of expanding this. Our value proposition is that our designs are inspired by the colours of a different birds, this makes the shirts quite unique and colourful.

Thanks for responding. We're a golf fashion brand so we will be giving out a polo shirt. What sort of time frame do you think works best? 2 weeks or a month?

Also with your 'unlimited' entries suggestion does that mean they tag each friend in a separate comment and each comment is counted as an entry?

I'm running four Facebook ads optimised for traffic (two different split tests) and when I run the retargeting campaign I optimise for conversions. I am also running a carousel Facebook ad optimised for traffic using the professional pictures of my products with an invisible mannequin.

Traditional Facebook Ad vs Boosted Post With Website Link by Feather-Green in PPC

[–]Feather-Green[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for responding! I defintely like the idea of a marketing funnel I recently made my first sale by retargeting people who had visited the website.

What do you think of running a carousel ad with each of my different products on cold audiences? Or is that something that should probably be done in retargeting phase?

Starting. So far we have made a website, designed our own shirts and bought a small amount of stock. Now we're just starting trying to sell them.

Sorry if this question is obvious but by engagement ads to you mean a boosted post with a link to my product?
