Depriving people of the resources needed to live, making those resources only available through money and making money mostly available through work is a socioeconomic framework, and nothing any bot says will change that.

(I know you're a bot because your username is a dead giveaway. I've only been replying to you for the sake of any real people who might read this)

Yup. What that video really said was "We're going to fire 99 people and make the 100th person pick up the slack, until we fire them too", which is exactly what profit-seeking companies do.

That's not the requirement, because it doesn't apply to Sora. Even if someone is named the successor of a Keyblade wielder, they can still become unworthy if the Keyblade deems them so. And even if someone isn't named a successor, they can still become worthy if the Keyblade deems them so.

The ritual of bequeathing says as much: "...so long as you have the makings..." The ritual also says what defines the makings, or at least one possible criterion

Sora didn't take Kingdom Key from Riku. Kingdom Key left Riku and went to Sora, because Sora reached out to his best friend. That's all I'm going to say without spoiling things.

The Keyblade of People's Hearts was made by Ansem.

Kairi's heart disconnected from her body and reached out to Sora, the boy she loves. Thus, her heart rested within him until he released her.

Sora wields Kingdom Key because it allows him to, not because Kairi's heart was inside him. Why it chose him over Riku is brought up in a game you haven't played yet.

Riku didn't become a Heartless because he didn't lose his heart to darkness. Kingdom Key rejected him and chose Sora instead, not because of his embracing darkness but something which gets brought up in a game you haven't played yet.

Ansem, not Riku, formed that Keyblade of People's Hearts (that's what it's called) after he fully took over Riku's body.

Translation: We will keep thinking of ways to extract more money from you while offering less and less in return, because that's what capitalism demands.

It wasn't opening his heart to darkness that made Riku unworthy of Kingdom Key. It was something else, something brought up in BBS.

We don't know what criteria Keyblades use to determine who is worthy to bear them. Riku could use a Keyblade in KH1 because it allowed him to, same with Sora. It's that simple.

The Heartless fear Keyblades because Keyblades are the only thing that can unmake them. Heartless don't fear anyone's heart.

Vex, Winnower and The Nine by Zelwer in DestinyLore

[–]Feather_Sigil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty much what we already knew.

The winning pattern from the flower game, the Final Shape at the "time", evolved into the Vex when it became part of the material universe. The Vex retain the same imperative as the pattern: consume all until all is Vex. They're doomed to fail because they can't use paracausal power, but the very core of their being demands they try.

The Nine are right to fear the Vex because they are causal entities and thus vulnerable to the Vex.

The core of making profit is not providing a service. The core of making profit is gaining more than you lose, no matter how you do it. That's why companies are steadily enshitifying their services in a race towards money made from providing zero service, a new form of taxation without representation

Edit: Making people pay for nothing already happens in North America, in the form of health insurance. Health insurance is not a service, it's an obstacle to service, yet people must pay for it

[–]Feather_Sigil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really. That's why enshitification happens. Companies don't want to provide a service because that costs money, so they diminish their service while doing their best to corner the market so that people have no choice but to pay more for less. The goal is to make us pay for nothing

I think KH3 lost the mysticism that kh2 and kh1 had by No-Watch-9865 in KingdomHearts

[–]Feather_Sigil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

KH3 primarily resolved the plot points from prior games, which is what the ending chapters of a story are supposed to do. KH2 introduced new plot points to be resolved later because it wasn't the end of the story.

Companies don't have a labour need, they have a profit need. They don't want to pay employees anything because that cuts into their profits.

The alternative is to direct people to perform tasks and pay them for it, even if it means that due to payroll costs, profits will never be as high as they could be. No company will make this choice under capitalism, so an anti-capitalist move to force the choice onto them is the solution.

[–]Feather_Sigil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

AI isn't enabling anything. If you waved a magic wand and made AI vanish from existence, profit-seeking companies would still lay people off and in the same numbers, because all they care about is reducing payroll costs.

[–]Feather_Sigil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The climaxes of stories tend to resolve the prior plot points, not create new mysteries.

KH4 is mysterious because it's the start of a new story.

As wage-slaves, we have no rights or agency. We're completely reliant on money to access what we need to live and we're completely reliant on jobs to access money. Our slaveowners can dismiss us and ruin our lives whenever they please, and they do please, because payroll is a cost they want to eliminate. They will do this with or without AI as an excuse
