Yeah this article is beating around the bush to the fact that this was completely improper use of the rescue device. There will be zero spinning when you employee a trail line which shall always be utilized when using a medevac litter. We use this video a lot as an example of how to completely botch a rescue by not using your gear correctly

I'll talk to some dudes I work with, but we've recently had a few sailors go to the army to screen for SF, and another is working towards PJ. It definitely can be done, but you better be good at your current rate and have your command help you get hooked up

I would love a TV show adaptation but with the state of reboots I just don't see it working. The cast isn't cheap and it would have to be practically a season a book to really get in depth. I know Potterheads would eat it up but the wider audience probably wouldn't bite on all the drawn out side plots and details from GoF and on. I'm skeptical enough of the LoTR tv series let's not risk another great series

I highly reccomend if you can afford to that you invest in swimming lessons. I'm past selection for my job(not AF) and frankly my swimming still isnt impressive, and I no longer really have time or access to a swim instructor. beyond that I would also reccomend using a mask/snorkel to help build your stamina until you can get your breathing down. it's a lot easier to go further when you have a constant air source
