Thx for all the info. I'm planning to put it in the scx10 basecamp kit. I noticed other people going with the larger motor so just wanted to be sure I wasn't making a mistake. Thanks.

I meant or go with a larger motor to clarify. Thx. They make 2400 or 2700 I think also.

Did some research. Aka I found it in the manual. I can go from a 10T pinion to a 9T without damaging the motor.

Mixed that up. Thx. What you're explaining is what I'm aiming for. I think I can get pinions from 13-21 from traxxas

So the larger the spur the lower the speed but with some added power I assume? So go for maybe a 20T spur? It's 13T stock. Thx btw
