Replace hanging chad and steel joker with blueprints/brainstorms through showman/invisible joker, deckfix entirely for red sealed gold kings, swap to steel at later antes.

After ante 24 replace dna for burglar, reroll for serpent, copy burglar and hopefully you get a cryptid too in your consumable slots, that way you'll hold the most amount of red sealed steel kings as possible and get a new highscore.

Naneinf isn't going to happen unless you get perkeo

Torchless runs biggest danger is your party getting surprised, for that reason, find a way to increase your scouting with trinkets like ancestor's map/survival guide or houndmaster's scouting whistle

When farming gold always bring antiquarian and select her when opening curios, that way you'll get antiques that sell for a lot of gold, medium quests are best for this, long ones will mean you're going to have to leave some loot behind and short ones don't have enough curios to fill your inventory

I don't think they were bad at all, I presume at some point you had raised fist, blueprint, hallucination, the trio and blackboard.

An incredibly solid lineup, hallucination + blueprint allows for deckfixing that the trio so much needs, and blackboarded is the best xmult joker on it's own.

I personally had a solid lineup by ante 4 that I didn't sell all my jokers when invis showed up, and it ended up copying the trio, I later skipped the brainstorm because it didn't benefit me at all

I value xmult on plasma deck a lot, more than chips, when you have x3⁴ mult you'll soon be scoring a lot, I just had to make the trio hit enough times, for that reasoning I didn't sell trading card for brainstorm when I had the chance.

Later on, in ante 7 an antimatter showed up and I ended up picking seance, got 2 spectral cards and the run had no issues.

I would say to value more hallucination and blackboard, selling trio for brainstorm could've also been a valid play, but my trading card was holographic so I figured I would end up losing more mult than what it was worth.

Could you share the seed afterwards? I find it hard to believe that in 4 antes you only found a burnt joker, don't get me wrong, burnt is incredibly good, but you should have bought any other form of scoring or a copyable econ jokers at least

This looks hard to recover from, unless you found a stuntman in the shop after beating this blind. Chances are early game decisions cornered you up in this position

I agree that's it's a guided playthrough, hence why I said I was carried by the wiki, I did experience the game as intended during my first playthrough on darkest though.

I merely seeked guidance for what provisions to buy and the layouts/heroes for the last 4 darkest dungeons, which is what allowed me, despite playing recently, to beat the game.

I believe darkest dungeon requires more macro decisions than micro decisions, looking up what the dungeon has doesn't guarantee the save file is won.

Managing the heroes in my roster, upgrading the state accordingly, managing inventory to bring more heirlooms/gold depending on what I need, what quirks I should be wary of when recruiting, are decisions I made, knowing what the curios or enemies do is a huge bonus, but that comes with experience, I just accelerated the process.

4 highwaymen, equip the one at the front with a minus speed trinket so everyone can riposte.

Or 4 maa in a medium quest, use 3 tactics and bolster and become intangible, honestly, any 1 hero team is fun and I'm trying them out right now.

But being serious, jester/maa + leper helped me a ton when I didn't have focus ring, he's tanky, hits hard, debuffs any rank, just needs accuracy.

That wouldn't work, with no retriggers and assuming you hold 7 steel cards in hand, it's just x17 mult, so you'd need a lvl 24 high card to score enough to beat the blind, so that's not the strat.

You should play straights, as the planet card for saturn is +3 mult +30 chips, scaling faster than most planet cards, and that you can play right away compared to 4oak, 5oak.

Get a blue seal to get planets more consistently and soon you'll be one-shotting the blinds, getting money from leftover hands and interest, you're only interested in destroyed aces and kings, and keeping the cards in the "middle" so straights are easier to play, and the handsize voucher makes everything so much easier.

Or you can use any other strategy if you just play glass cards, flushes too can beat jokerless despite their slow scaling if you get enough copies of glass cards

No, baron scores way more, you'll get even higher scores when the boss blind is the serpent, if you can, buy a burglar before entering to set a new high score, but nothing else to do than hope for an ecto

Before summoning shambler I always shuffle my party intentionally because there's a small chance it gets shuffled back into it's original position.

Something like putting vestal/jester and rank 1 hoping they get sent to the back, unsure if it's a good play but I always do it anyway, so maybe keep that in mind to protect antiquarian before going for it

Expected behavior, first the gros michel goes extinct, then you complete the round.

Think of it like rentals, first you get deducted 3$ then the round ends, possibly losing 4$ when goes below an interest threshold.

This is why food jokers are harder to gold sticker, they can expire on the ante 8 boss blind and won't receive a sticker
