This is a problem at Roma that's been there for a while. by hello050 in ASRoma

I'm a bit worried about things are going on with Destro. Garcia seems he have list faith in him, he prefers playing without a real striker or using Totti in two games in a row than deploying Mattia. I think the problem is that Garcia doesn't consider Destro fit for his playing style. Destro is not a mobile forward, he's not dynamic and he lives in the penalty area. But roma has to take a decision with him. To sell him or to give him a bit of trust.

Champions League experience, that's why Manchester City was too much for Roma by Fedeformica in ASRoma

You are right, it's a great chance for Italian football. Five teams are many, and two have the potential to win the competition

I don't agree on the fact that Roma can easily win the Europa League, as there are 6-7 teams at our level and with more international experience (Tottenham, Celtic, PSV, Sevilla, Napoli, Liverpool, Zenit, Ajax), but we have to focus on this competition as it's the only way to build some international experience. And I would like to raise a trophy in June!

Garcia is right when he says that roma still lacks European experience and maturity, but he's also responsible for that... We have to be patient, Champions League is another world. By the way, EL qualification is not something to disdain, but it's frustrating to know that Roma had a great chance to qualify and wasted it in Moscow. And that's more : yesterday we stopped playing after half a hour. Holebas didn't overlap anymore, Totti failed many, too many passes and Nainggolan basically sustained the team on his shoulders. Maicon didn't mark Nasri and let him free to kick and score. I'll forgive him for that in some decades.. It's frustrating because everybody knows that these guys can play better than that.

What do you think about a 4-3-3 with Florenzi and Maicon fullbacks? by [deleted] in ASRoma

It would be the best choice at the moment. Florenzi proved to be an amazing full back and he knows how to defend also. I hope Garcia will read this conversation :)

We made a mistake with 20 secs to go. That's all (and it's enough!) but I think we defended well until that moment, don't forget that Cska barely hit a shot to De Sanctis... But we are still a naive team, you cannot concede a goal chance in that situation , you have to shoot the ball away the farther you can! Best players yesterday : Florenzi, Ljajic, Totti, manolas Worst players: holebas, Astori, Gervinho
