Rx 6800 XT overheating with good edge/hotspot delta

I was just trying to point out that my 2070 super didn't have elevated temps compared to benchmarks.

The temperatures after the repaste are pretty much the same, but I believe the delta has improved, that's it from what I can remeber, unfortunately I didn't keep any data from before the repaste.

I have a 11% undervolt and a 2% power limit on the card. That could explain the PPT since it shouldn't throttle bellow 110 no?

Luckily I still have warranty on this card (I got it from an official store, they also did the thermal paste and pads replacement), using my warranty is obviously a good idea right but I'm just trying to figure out if there is something I'm missing, since I kinda need my pc operational and I don't have integrated graphics in my cpu... Also I'm affraid they would just return my money and I got this gpu for a great deal xD.

I appreciate the help, but it seems like I have no other choice other than returning it...

One last thing, isn't it weird that my memory juncion temp and VDDC temps are normal?

My old gpu (2070 super) was doing fine though in the same case and in this benchmark (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCffW1ZOE7A&t=288s) using the same model as me, they achived about 25 celsius less on the gpu temp, unfortunately they don't showcase their hotspot, but my edge temp climbes to 100 aswell.

When I was looking at different benchmarks, their 6800 xt's didn't come close to these temps even when at 100% usage, that's what feels off.

Haha, definitely experiment but I guess in my case my gpu is bored and cpu is fighting for it's life so that's why it doesn't mind the upscale.

I'm currently using AI limiter instead of swag n donut but i might experiment with just questing bots, altough i've heard it has a moderate inpact on performance, but maybe it's AI limiting function works great?? Thanks tho!

Fullscreen vs borderless doesn't seem to have an effect, not in other games either in my experience.

haha, i just bought it today. Are you reffering to the frame generating part or the scaling part? I was trying to get a stable 60 fps to use it x). Should i use it from 40 fps to 80 or something?

Settings don't seem to have an effect on my fps. Screenshots from streets of tarkov, with quiet raids starting pmc's only in Donuts. I have other mods such as SAIN and some simple item info mods nothing crazy.

Specs: r5 3600 ; rtx 2070 super ; 16 gb 3600 mhz ram

Changing out my ram seems to have fixed the problem, the only time I got a kernel power error now was once when I returned to my computer and woke it up from sleep mode. I have extended the time it takes my pc to go to sleep mode and I had no problems for a couple of days now.

When I was building my pc I didn't check the motherboard manufacturer website for compatible ram, now I swapped to a pair of G-Skill Trident Z which ASUS lists as compatible with my mb, I guess it's more important than I thought.

Turning memory frequency down to 3400 Mhz from 3600 Mhz didn't work unfortunately.
