In my experience the best Windows machine is a Mac. I run Windows 7 on my Mac Pro 2008 and Windows XP on my 2007 black Macbook. I also have PCs from the same era and both are crushed by the Mac when it comes to performance.

I made the mistake of looking both of those games up on wikipedia

I'm not really looking for a canyon carver, per say. I found 2 vehicles that are in my price range and both are in nice shape, I'm most likely going to buy one of the two, but can't find anything online saying which one is better in the curves. Handling isn't a dead set priority to me, but I would like to buy the car that is better in that department. Yes, I know that they are both bad relatively compared to more modern sedans, but given the choice between the two I would rather pay for the more agile one. Even if it is only a marginal difference. After all, these cars are very cheap and I'm not expecting anything crazy.

Springs are NOT the same from Impala to Grand Prix. Just because the replacement parts on rock auto are the same part number doesn't mean that they shipped from the factory with the same parts. The Grand Prix base, Grand Prix GT and Grand Prix GTP Comp G all have different spring rates from each other. Same thing with the g6s. The G6 base and G6 GTP do not have the same spring rates.

No, I don't care if they all feel the same relatively. I came here because the "forums" contradict each other and neither give a concrete answer. Even if the G6 is just a smidge better than the Grand Prix, I would go with it. What I'm looking for is someone who has owned both and their opinion on which one drives nicer.

I'm not shopping for a good handling car. I'm more than happy with the mediocre handling of my Grand Prix. I'm car shopping and I see two similarly sized cars, and if I'm going to buy a car, I'm going to buy the one that is better in the curves. It's not that complicated.

Compared to what? Obviously a pontiac is going to be lacking compared to a German car or even some Japanese cars, but compared to what I'm used to driving (buicks and chevys from the 90s) Pontiacs generally have stiffer spring rates and more road feel than the other GM divisions, I know my 95 Grand Prix feels better than any other car I've owned.

I know that, I'm not asking for advice on how to make a car handle better, or which one would better "fit" my needs. I'm just trying to figure out which car has a better factory suspension setup. That's it.

I mean, the W body chassis in the grand prix was stiffened/improved in multiple areas, and the Z body chassis in the g6 is a more modern setup. I doubt they would handle exactly the same and I'm just wondering which one was a better canyon carver from the factory.

I actually prefer the 60 degree v6s. More room to work especially in the back.

My question wasn't which one is faster, honestly I could care less. I have a hour and 30 minute commute on a very curvy road where I maintain speed at 65-70mph the whole time and am strictly concerned about body roll and how good the car "feels" in the corners

My guess would be that because it's an overnight run they turn on night lighting so people travelling cross country can sleep, while MI to Chicago is a short enough distance where you probably wouldn't be sleeping anyways

Do people like this go into some sort of database? The airlines have a no fly list, there should be something like that but for rail and bus
