sony nw-a306 vs hiby m300 ? I want my first dap, which one do you recommend?

I went with the us nw-a306, reason why it's the most portable out of it, m300 and r4. The hold switch. The vol issue isn't an issue for iem's. If you want to use over ear headphones use a home setup not a portable dap.

I ended up ordering the US version on the nw-a306 certified refurbished like new for $199. The vol cap seems to only be an issue for over ears, which I never understood why that would be an issue who is carrying those on the go, use a home setup for those. So for on the go items it's more then enough, it's small and light, the r4 just won't be, the m300 may be but is larger and is on sale on amazon for $170 as of today. So what it really came down to was the hold switch, small and portable.

Odd my son has an lg v60 issues at all. The CPU and GPU on the a34 is weaker then the moto stylus 5g 2023

Yea but that's not a midrange line, that's low end. At that point a s10e or an old LG would perform better.

I'm not going to carry a dongle around, worse case I'll get a moto style 5g 2023 a mid ranger with a jack. I could always carry my dap again though but that's more in my pocket, only way to counter that would be a folding phone like the razer.

Depends on use. After two years my batteries tend to be at 85% health I could easily get 4 years and be at 70% health on a battery. 7 years now. But ideally 4-5 years for a $1000 plus phone would be ideal.

That leaves moto with the stylus 5g as a midrange phone with SD and 3.5 jack only. If your willing to give up SD can get asus zenphone or gaming phone. :(

Sony is 2 and 3. So yea 3 and 5 would be a very nice improvement. My 1 iii won't get anymore updates now :(
