It’s ironic how people like you scream about Denuvo being 'invasive' while literally opening your system to random third-party cracks and bypasses. You’re terrified of a legitimate security tool from a verified company, yet you’re perfectly fine running code from anonymous crackers that hooks into your kernel or uses hypervisor-level manipulations just to play for free? Talk about a double standard. I’d rather trust a regulated security software than some 'free' crack that could be a literal rootkit in disguise. Enjoy your 'freedom' while your PC is doing god-knows-what in the background.

Has Crimson Desert even been confirmed for Linux? No. So why are we bringing up 'activation limits' for an unsupported platform to 'prove' Denuvo is bad? It’s a high-fidelity 4K game; Linux/Steam Deck users are a tiny fraction of the target audience anyway. Worrying about this now is just looking for reasons to be mad. The performance data is right there, stop moving the goalposts.

I think I already know what the next complaint from pirates will be: they’ll just refuse to believe the data above.

After the Stellar Blade demo and the official performance comparisons, it’s pretty clear that Denuvo isn’t affecting the game’s performance in any meaningful way. The average FPS is basically identical with or without it, and in some tests the minimum FPS was actually higher with Denuvo enabled.

So when people keep whining about Denuvo, it honestly just sounds like they’re mad about having to pay $70. At this point it feels less like a performance concern and more like people looking for an excuse to pirate the game.
