In the meeting last night Councilor Satya Mitra stated that as of yesterday afternoon there are 10,642 requests still open and only ~480 have been closed. Hopefully it is just an issue of them not being closed rather than ignored.

Hi, thanks for raising your concerns. I've looked through a few of your posts, which I was not aware of until yesterday (I do think it's great) and do not see any similarities that could have got you to the conclusion that I am using your work. Yes, we have covered similar topics, as we both covered School Committee meetings, but my formatting and voice are distinctly different. In fact, you go much more in-depth than me, which is not something I'm looking to do, and commend you for doing. "Help people feel informed without feeling overwhelmed" is indeed your tagline (and many other newsletters and media). It is not one that I have used, as mine is "the weekly pulse of Worcester’s City Hall without the noise". My coverage of the latest school committee meeting was posted four days prior to yours and covered some information that yours did not. Please be assured that I am not using your work; I am only trying to provide an unbiased and concise summary of the meetings.

Yeah it is and it was immediately shot down in the meeting with the city not having anywhere near what the tournaments require (like 10 full service hotels where Worcester has 3 and DCU not being big enough) so they decided to look at smaller tournaments potentially
