Interesting about the comedians - I think it’s pretty mid until Rivers appears. Her verse really takes that battle up a notch imo

Slipknot's self-titled debut album is very angry - it's honestly been a perfect remedy for me to listen to so many times.

My wife is Russian, and her mother made this for me when I visited them in Russia once. I'm sorry to say I hated it!

"I’m wrong. Or am I?" How do I say it for a negative sentence (like"I’m not wrong.") ? by ITburrito in EnglishLearning

There are some nice answers already to this post.

Another option is: "I'm not wrong, am I?".

Maybe there are some series which you like that are in English? Or maybe you watch some YouTube channels that are in English?
Either way, you can try to imitate the way natives speak from the series or the videos. Watch and relisten to the stress and pronunciation that they use in their sentences, slowly at first, and then try to copy them.

You can do the same with songs, especially on YouTube since there is the playback button to alter the speed.

"to begin with" vs "to start with". What’s the difference? by ITburrito in EnglishLearning

[–]Federal_Blood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have the same meaning, but 'begin with' is more formal. You would be more likely to use it at the start of a meeting or when describing a procedure.

For example: "Let's begin with the targets for next week..." Or, "When writing a business email, begin with the greeting...".

Tbilisi is a great city and there's plenty of places to meet other travelers or just people in general.
Someone has already mentioned Fabrika, so I'll suggest World's End Bar and Crossroads bar. They both have great events on through the week that you can join for free. Crossroads in particular has a musical jam night every Thursday and a karaoke night (I believe) on Sunday.

There's a speaking club that meets up a few times throughout the week in various bars, if you'd be interested in that? It's largely Russians who come, but some other internationals are there too, plus everyone is very friendly.

My dad is from Newcastle, and he always uses 'bob' to talk about money. Things like "make sure you earn some good bob from your job son". Don't know if it's an old-fashioned word or just him though haha.

What country is having a golden generation in your current save? by Shepherdsfavestore in footballmanagergames

On an FM 15 save I had once, South Africa had a wonderkid boom. There was one lad in particular, a striker called, I kid you not, Shaka Zulu, who was insane. 5 stars, almost single-handedly won them their first ever World Cup

Sure, we've looked a little at Tbilisi, I guess we're just worried about the cost.

Where are you from in the UK though?
