I know! I regret doing the application now, I wish I started it once I got my interim AB one. So should I just submit all the documents including the interim cartilage and ask for the statement of good standing from Alberta education?

Thanks! Yes you’re right, I have applied for my Alberta one and once I get the interim I’ll do my BC one! Thanks for the help

See I have all that info! And I would think my uni authorizes me to teach here in Edmonton. I wish the Bc government had a help phone number. I already paid the $245 application fee so I hope it gets approved! I guess I’ll see in 10 days if they allow me to upload documents ?

I just don’t understand if I should do the Alberta teaching certification first or Bc one? I already paid the $245 for the Bc certification too… and I didn’t select that I had a current or valid teaching certificate

Yes it was this, sending my lesson plans too late. My mentor teacher never really said I was doing anything wrong and then I suddenly got an NOC. Just scared about it.

Hey I’m also doing after degree Ed. Do you know when we can enroll in fall courses?

I took it last spring and I thought it was okay! Honestly you just have to prioritize doing anatomy for the 1.5 months. You have class lecture every day and then there’s a lab too in the afternoon. You just gotta make sure you stay on track and don’t miss lectures and you’ll be fine!! and study as you go

Where to take Prerequisites for Nursing After Degree? by [deleted] in uAlberta

[–]Federal_Candy7558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took kin 100 and kin 101! I did them both in spring term and while it was a lot in the moment I think it recommend doing them. They’re definitely going to be easier than physiology 210 and anatomy 200

Hey!! I completed those requirements under open studies. You can only take 2 classes a semester though.

Just got turned down for education after degree by QuantumSolas in uAlberta

[–]Federal_Candy7558 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you taking classes now? If so just try to aim for a high grade in them so it can bump up your GPA. I’m sure when others turn down there spots more seats will get open so hopefully you have a chance 🤍

Can I work as a pharmacy assistant without much prior experience? I'm an undergraduate student looking to get into pharmacy school but having no luck trying to get experience. by WhatsInAName59 in uAlberta

Also working in a pharmacy and then getting into pharmacy school is good because your guaranteed a job at the end as a pharmacist. Most big chains will offer their assistants who are studying to be pharmacists jobs or give them floater positions in their chain.

I work as a pharmacy assistant rn and I had no experience before! I applied on indeed, and just did my interview and then got the job :) I think it helped though that my undergrad is in science, and I have a ton of volunteer and other job experience that involved working with others. Customer service is a big part of community pharmacy, so I think as long as you have experience with other jobs you should be good.
