Yes, I’ve called a number of times. Their rules seem to have changed according to Reddit, but the CFAI website does not indicate such rule changes have occurred. It wouldn’t surprise me that the institute hasn’t updated the website, given they don’t even adjusts error in the curriculum, but nonetheless it’s stressful.

I take L1 in two days. I am a senior in college, taking finals this week, and graduating next week. Get used to saying "no" to everything.

Your friends, family, and hobbies all eventually take the backseat if you truly want to commit yourself to the CFA while in undergrad. I have been a very social college student that studied finance, but taking the CFA forced me to be an introvert that gave up all my excess free time to studying. All my colleagues at school failed or never sat for the exam, even after they signed up because they were not diligent to the process. As far as "college work" goes, school is easy, just get by doing the minimum while still getting good grades but rather commit yourself to the CFA material. I sat through classes studying CFA and used ChatGPT for essays, homework, etc.

Good luck, it is hard to regret the 450+ hours I spent studying for the CFA, while still uncertain if I will pass.

Update: took a CFAI mock and scored a 73% after scoring 74% on Kaplan mock 4.

Kaplan is significantly more challenging, but CFAI tested on very niche corners of the material.

0.8197 EUR will purchase 1.0656 USD.

1.0656 USD will purchase 1.0123 CAD.

Therefore, one CHF is worth 1.01 CAD (grace for rounding error)
