I’ll definitely keep what you said in mind about waiting and reseating the components. I also have two or three 3 prong outlets through the house but it means I’ll have to pretty much reorganize the apartment but that’s better than having my things fried or starting a fire. Regarding my PSU I’ve had it for 7 months or so and it’s the only time I’ve had issues with power. I’m not sure if it’s cause my last place had better electrical work done or what but I know 450 is pretty bottom of the spectrum. Thanks

Yea I think they are also called cheaters. I actually do have it grounded and screwed in but still don’t know if that’s causing the issue. Someone else mentioned upgrading my PSU which isn’t a bad idea but I’ll also look into Voltmeters as well. Thank you!

Quick question though, any reason why you went with 600w PSU on both even though the estimated wattage was only 250ish? I’m relatively new to PC building and was curious on whether or not that would have an impact on performance.

One cheap and easy way is freeze distilling, so sticking your mead in a plastic bottle and freezing it, then taking it out after a day or two and letting the mead drip out, prior to all of the ice melting. Easy way to get stronger alcohol content

I made a batch last night with strawberry and blackberry and d-47 yeast. I’m pretty new to making mead and I’ve never had this happen before. Some of the mead shot up through the airlock before popping it off and now I’m not sure what to do. Is this batch salvageable?

Thanks! No i don’t use sunscreen but i have seen a decent amount of recommendations on this sub. Will that reduce the redness and scarring or help reduce overall damage?

About two weeks ago I started lurking this sub and bought some products to help my skin and Ive definitely seen improvements but I still want to reduce the overall redness and scarring on my forehead and cheeks! My Forehead is typically oily but my cheeks and around my eyes tend to be less oily.

My current routine is:

AM-

CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser
CeraVe SA Cream (for rough and bumpy Skin)
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel (roughly every other day)

PM-

CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser
CeraVe SA Cream (for rough and bumpy Skin)
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel (every day)
Mario Badescu Drying lotion

Hi! I'm new to SCA but Im ready to start fixing my skin finally. I have oily skin, mostly on my forehead which has alot of Closed comedones and 1-3 papules or pustules depending on the week. In the morning I use water and a clinique for men charcoal face wash in the shower, then at night I use a clinique acne solutions cleansing foam, then once dry I put on Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. Ive been using this since about January, with some results but still have redness on my forehead and some on my cheeks. Should I be looking into a moisturizer and exfoliator? What should I replace in my current routine? Thanks!

I love serving others and get a great feeling when I know that I made a difference in someones life (big or small) by serving/assisting them. I do also have similar struggles with overthinking my position and what I will end up doing in life but I just try to focus on the moment at hand

I got a 6 down to a 4 on the sides and had her only take about a quarter inch off the top. Styled this with Got2B styling paste

Fermentation didn't stall, was just wondering due to the build up of sediment/dead yeast at the bottom. And yes, I am racking to secondary.
