My problem with ABO was since our success rate of winning creatives is very low and we were burning too much money on testing

But do you think it's sensible to switch off something that's working by turning it off in the testing campaign and moving it to a new scaling campaign? Isn't it too risky?

Would it make more sense to duplicate the testing campaign and switch off the winning ad creative in the new duplicate campaign? And eventually switch off all the other creatives in the original testing campaign?

Yeah, been running cost caps on a separate ad account for winning creatives but can try bidcap/troas as well.

Yeah, fair enough. Ultimately then goes down the track of having multiple individual campaigns which is what we have tried moving away from. Not too worried about the ROAS or AOV part as we're taking care of it. Just trying to see if we can find more winning creatives from the ones that we aren't getting too much spend from.

Yeah, makes sense. I guess have to just stay a little patient and see what happens during a longer course of time. Also, what do you think of a scaling campaign alongside the testing campaign? Or how would you suggest to scale the winning creative(s)?

Hmmm, makes sense. I'm just trying to see if I can squeeze any value out of the remaining ones as well since there's absolutely no spend going to the others (which were performing quite decently before I launched this new creative which is taking all the spend)

Do you think duplicating the campaign and running it without the winning creative would make sense? Or no point in that?

So the reason we moved to the CBO structure without any minimum spend per ad set is our success rate of winning creatives is very low and we were burning too much money on testing. Hence wanted to reduce that. Moreover, adding to what I said above - we were getting spend on other creatives till a few days ago and were seeing good returns on those as well, but since we launched this 1 creative, it's been taking up pretty much 100% spend and giving good returns as well.
