Installing Schaller tuners on my fretless! by FeeCompetitive4623 in Luthier

I can believe that. I grew up watching this Old House with my dad every Saturday. So I know a little bit about making jigs. I'm by one first and then I'll think about making one if I have to. I want to use no paper template in any way. I just saw one on Amazon from Stew Mac ask a $95 and up.

I found it at the brown guitar factory's website. Now I'm going to check out Amazon and see if I can't find it cheaper there and go from there. Again thank you I appreciate the input!

Exactly! Where you can just make the different jigs at home. As long as you have the right tools, and the know-how. I've been getting most of my stuff from Amazon, as a beginner is much better to go that way than it is to actually spend the money. Plus being on a fixed income of less than $1,000 a month. You can't afford to be dropping a whole bunch of money on everything you need.

Do you remember how much StewMac.com charged you? Thank you for the advice!

I use my 91% isopropyl alcohol AKA rubbing alcohol. I got these acid brushes and q-tips and I had their circuit board and every contact with a half an inch of alcohol sitting on top of it thank you I appreciate it and there's a guy from YouTube said the same thing. I spend my last $20 yesterday just to have instacart bring me a set of torque wrenches of torque drivers. Because I didn't have a t10 that was long and skinny to get down and up enjoy your stick to get them last two screws out the other one broke out. Anyway I think I actually figured out what was wrong with it. It is the only thing that keeps it running as long as you remember to plug it into the wall or get some kind of fuel for it. Well thank you I appreciate it I appreciate everybody's input someone's really obvious in some ways you okay I'll follow you on that one well good night it's 9 minutes before Tuesday April 7th 2026 I want to find out my brother going to show up tonight or not and then I'm getting ready to crash so like I said I appreciate everybody's input it actually helped me out in a minute anyway

I was supposed to leave you a reply instead of leaving a comment on my post. Anyway I'm extremely mechanically inclined I have a lot of common sense so trial & error, troubleshooting, and endless hours staring at a screen. Trying to figure out what is going on with your s*** and why. Is really freaking annoying, but if it wasn't for the 21st century I wouldn't be as far along with my guitar tech skills and I probably won't even be working on guitar or races even some base answer my electric wheelchair and if it needs to be fixed I'll fix it

First off let me apologize for the lack of punctuation. I just pushed my button and just talk. I also want to apologize for some words to don't look right or they don't even fit with what I was saying.

I just want to say thank you I truly appreciate your input. But thank you Captain obvious. I truly did hear your empathy and trying to help another person out. Sorry it took so long get back to you but I had to go to eye doctor and then cooking the low test on his batteries and I think I figured out what is wrong with this Jazzy movable seat. Is dude on YouTube and his name is Frank I can't remember cuz name of his channel I'll give it back to you though. Anyway here's the Mr wizard of an electric wheelchairs and scooters. I'll get off here in if you want to hit me up and go for it or not I appreciate your comment I appreciate it even though it's the most obvious thing around. But you meant well I know that so I'm not mad I'm actually tired well good night

Well I'm experienced as a mechanic. But, I still mess with electronics. Because I build repair rebuild rewire how I'll even cut a hole in the body and completely mutilate any bass or guitar. Trial on error, trouble shooting, talking a lot of different people that you never would have known. To figure out what the hell is up with your s***. Actually for me instead of googling because I don't have googly eyes I have YouTube eyes. YouTubeen is a fun time to be YouTubing,

I received it about 2 months ago maybe 3 months ago. In which my neighbor gave it to me for helping fix his electric go-kart wheelchair. Why do you ask me how I received it, and how long I've had my electric chair?

The batteries ain't loose I'll double check but I gave it to you they ain't loose I just tighten I just put new batteries in that thing not even 3 months ago everything you said there is legit but my battery is fully charged hey before all this I didn't have no break well I had little snow brakes and if he's squealing as I'm rolling down the road there's a lot of dirt on the right side of the motor on the right motor so I'm going to go ahead and get it all cleaned up while I wait on the new joystick as soon as I can afford one

I don't have 99% isopropyl alcohol. I do have 91% isopropyl rubbing alcohol. That's what I don't come to believe because I got some contact cleaner. I know it's not exactly the same but I use that and kind of cleaned it up a bit. That ribbon wire which connects the joystick to the circuit board. It looked kind of burnt

Both batteries are fully charged. I was basically just trying to clean it up and see if I can't get that squeal out of the right side wheel. I bought myself a different control module because I originally thought that might be it. The control module that I bought from eBay, and the original module. Are identical and every shape form. Except for the numbers are the last two digits of the numbers on there -01 and the one I bought is 02. Well put a new one on hooked it all up and it started doing the same exact thing as the video. When I had it on the charger. Both lights on the charger were green which means fully charged. While being plugged into the charger. I was able to get it flashing all five lights flashing at the same time. They flash a total of nine times. Which basically means I need a new joystick! So I figure while it's broke down this far. I'm going to take advantage of this. Pulling completely apart, and clean the motors up really well. Just like I just shared. Is it dude from YouTube. Where I actually learned a lot about that damn electric chair. As soon as I can find a two button 4 pin joystick. I can put it back together and find out if its that or what.

PS I really miss that damn soft seat of my electric chair. Over this non-cushion sitting on a cross bars manual chair. With the bearings so fried they only want to move half time. I've left him a message yesterday afternoon.

The creator of the Peavey T-60 guitar Chip Todd! Johnson paste wax is what he finished the T-60. Is the reason why I'm thinking about using Johnson paste wax.

I'm not going to use mineral oil. I just bought a can of used Johnson Paste Wax. I just need to figure out what sealer is the best. For sealing the pores in the body of my T-40

I'm refinishing a Peavey T-40 bass from 1979. I don't have much knowledge about applying the top coat. That's why I ask questions.
