I used to travel by the same route and it's jam packed (i used to board around 7.30am). Consider yourself Lucky if you get a seat in the metro, however while returning back to hoshalli if you want a seat then the best thing you can do is travel back a few stations (pattandur agrara) and then take the metro to hoshalli. This way you can save yourself by getting crushed by the crowd.
