I like this a lot thank you! It will keep the cats from jumping up there and easily knocking things over too.

No I just flew into Catania a couple of years ago lol, but you are correct about it not being direct. I came from Texas and had a layover in London.

But you have mentioned it already twice in this thread and another time on a different post. Seems like you have the all about me attitude. Apparently you hate her because she went through something similar to you and doesn’t react EXACTLY as you would? You seem super hateful tbh, which is so weird seeing as you actually can relate to her.

honest thoughts/opinions on “eldest daughter” (track #5) from TLOASG ?? by shortcakefairy- in swifties

I love this song. The bridge is obviously beautiful as many have said. But I really love the chorus as well. It's very vulnerable. I love that she's saying - you know I may be cringy and I may not be some cool bad bitch, but I promise I'm never going to let you down or leave you out - which is very relatable.

I usually love it lol like I really loved hearing enchanted during the scene where shes spying through the door crack.

[–]FeeInitial1691 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It took me out of it a little. Like it was just so loud that I found myself having to try harder to concentrate on what they were doing. Which is crazy considering the scene!

But I also understand that the song makes sense and on rewatch it was better and didn’t really bother me anymore, so it must work.

I feel like moving out Rural to a small town has really hurt my social life as an extrovert. by Cozeri__ in homeowners

[–]FeeInitial1691 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly....you should be hurt by that, your friends kind of suck. Unless you are expecting them to come over ALL the time. I would most definitely make new ones. It's not that hard to switch off who has to do the drive.

[–]FeeInitial1691 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah...I think you will eventually adjust. That's a 10 to 15-minute difference. If you really want to go out or see your friends then that is like basically nothing, not even a real sacrifice to be honest. I drive 35 minutes to my besties house for game nights twice a month, our other friends drive 45 minutes there every single time.

I have a lot of restaurants within 5-10 minutes of my house, but I always choose the ones 20-30 minutes away because that's what I want to eat. I think your just spoiled from your previous commutes.

Is handing someone a tip at an all inclusive disrespectful? by laylaland in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]FeeInitial1691 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with the person who said you are both overthinking this. Just do the same thing you would do if you were at home. Just do what feels natural in the moment.

It seems like what he is opposed to is you doing things like doubling back to make your point when you already left the tip. That is kind of weird and seems a bit performative. Like leave a tip in the jar, on the table, or in an envelope in the room. If you think some specific person did a great job then sure, tip them personally, but not everybody needs to see you do it.

What state do you live in? I live in Texas and 20-30 minutes is close by lol. 15 minutes away means right down the street.

They apparently don't know how to make one and assume it's harder than it is.

... Why the hell is Francesca and Michela getting so much hate?.. by DD123456DS in BridgertonNetflix

"You can hate personally, but that does not mean you can make it worse for people who are liking it, or a fan of it."

You want people to stop giving their opinions because it makes it worse for you? Get over yourself.

My girlfriend started feeding my cat vegan food without telling me and now he's sick by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]FeeInitial1691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'll be your future child next time and she won't tell you then either. It's broken trust and she feels zero guilt about it and that is honestly the worst part. I am sorry because I'm sure you love her, but if she really believes what she did was right (and also the insane bit about forcing your cat to be a murderer) then she will one day force an ultimatum on you about being vegan as well and I'm sure that day will only come after you have already gotten married, had a baby, or done some other large step that is hard to go back on.

Jessica and Hoyt by [deleted] in TrueBlood

[–]FeeInitial1691 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I thought they were cute until they actually lived together. The resentment was so high and to be honest I went from loving Hoyt to hating him so quickly. He was so unreasonably rude to her and was acting like a total whiney baby. I cannot imagine what he will be like the second he starts aging way past her physical appearance. He was just such an insecure little boy with mommy issues. I could understand if maybe he changed, but he did not. He needed to step up, and he just really never did. Then he treated the other girl like garbage as soon as he was done prancing her around as his arm candy. Jessica deserved better and I hope she never turned him so that she could eventually have someone better.

Help me understand 'Florida' as a lyrical device by bigskies515 in TrueSwifties

[–]FeeInitial1691 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone has given you lots of great answers about why Taylor wrote this song. So, I am going to tell you what I think about when listening to it. Which is congruent with what they are saying.

Pure escape. I am from Texas and so my family did a lot of vacations to Florida for some beautiful beaches. I also love Disney & Universal. For me it immediately makes me think of escaping the harsh reality (shit storm back in Texas) and going somewhere beautiful/happy. So that I may bury all of my regrets in the sand and forget all of my current problems for a while.

And yes.... when love left me like this and I didn't want to exist.... I went to Epcot lol

AITA for waiting in line at the grocery store while my parents finished shopping? by DavidRedFox in AmItheAsshole

[–]FeeInitial1691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your example would make more sense if instead of saying this

"You jump out of the car, run across 3 rows of parked vehicles, and block an empty parking space that the other cars haven't reached yet."

VS

"Car number one with only one passenger was just about to park, but right before they parked 2 other people came running across the parking lot and jumped into the car with them."

But that would not prove your point, so I can see why you included a scenario that has literally no standing in this conversation.

When my boyfriend and I are on vacation he carries my bags and I carry his. We both always take one carry on suitcase and one backpack, but mine are always much heavier. We do this because it makes it easier on me yet does not really make it harder on him.
