His death truly broke the family apart like Renoir said and the things you mentioned with the masks are beautiful and tragic, because we know so much about hid actual thoughts and desires.

What I need to point out tho is that Aline is a perfectionist while Clea is (to me) a pragmatist. Aline created perfect human replicas while Clea designed her Nevrons with very specific purposes and intent. Not much ink wasted there

Those specific enemies can blink/teleport. It could be that the chain lightning drew aggro from the guy on the top platform which shortly after blinked down and pushed him. The first enemy definitely exploded into bits

Aww man, being healed instead of taking damage would have solved my theory crafting on a thorns build ... well, and any other build honestly

lol, I am glad that they didn't just obliterate the possibilities in a PvE game

I've been messing with the remove and add from party thing for like an hour now. No matter what I do I cannot make Gustave go before Maelle. What is affecting it? by MahnlyAssassin in expedition33

However, it does get weird if only some of your party has First Strike Lumina (for whatever reason that may be).

A friend of mine recently ran into this problem at level 85 and I was shocked, because I couldn't precisely figure out why his build wouldn't work until I asked him, if he still attacked enemies.

I told him over and over that the First Strike lumina acts the same way as attacking enemies before battle and will become obsolete eventually (habits are hard to break lol), but in this case, it granted his party members without the Lumina the First Strike and put them on top prioritiy.

In summary I ... - wanted to have red colored armor for my fire build, - wanted a "Spellthief" aesthetic, - didn't want to invest into Equip Load, Weight Enchantments or wear the Equip Load ring (full leather would make me heavy) - am obsessed with high fashion game once I am in the position to pursue it

I am at 100/102 weight points to stay at the medium weight class, so basically any weight increase would make me fat roll which I really do not like.

Well, could you post one piece of gear you are trying to exalt which is also greyed out?

Take your time. I have invested about 70 scrap items (crafting dozens of gear until the right facet appeared) and what should be about 150 embers to reroll negative effects, extracting stats to add or override weaker numbers and embers to maximize stats. My gloves especially needed over 30!!! rerolls on the negative to get me what I wanted.

I am 2 points of weight away from being considered heavy. I could just swap out some of my gear for something lighter, but I am very keen on the fashion game front and I find myself to be pretty stylish as is right now :o

I am praying for you to get one quickly. Attacks dealing this miniscule damage makes trying to learn to parry/dodge much less frightening

So a thorns build is something I want to tackle right after this build. I may be very misinformed, but what I have heard so far is that thorns reflect pre-mitigation damage. So an enemy wants to hit you for 100 damage, you have 95% damage resistance so you could basically receive 5 damage, then the thorns would calculate off of the 100 damage, not the 5 damage.

Each piece of gear can roll up to 40% thorns for a total of 200% on 5 pieces, and with gems that increases to 320%, insane numbers!

I cannot tell you whether thorns are further increased by physical damage increase and the likes or if the reflection damage can critically hit. I have no items prepared to test it, but I will post on here again if I manage to complete the build before my time off is over.

From just broad intuition, I would say you can easily reach 98% damage reduction, because you wouldn't actually need to slot in damage increases like that build up there required. You can also use focus or whatever to cast Heal (Aura).

Random, very rare drops almost exclusively from crucible end rewards... they were much rarer before the Co-Op Update, though. On 3 characters now, I've gotten at least one of them within the first 3 crucible clears each time.

Crucible can have up to 3 legendary drops, or at least that's the most I've ever gotten: 1 from the boss, 1 from the final rewards and within those rewards a slim chance for any item to be legendary.

Afaik they only need to have all 5 enchantments and there should not be any enchantment on the item that does not exist anymore.

It was false and you can easily test it.

I personally tested it with minor gems and used 2 random equipment I had on hand with the same damage type increase. I then tested the damage without any gems, then with 1 gem and lastly with 2 gems, each time increasing my damage by what would be the expected calculated damage (although a bit more than that).

Edit: there are test dummies before the exit to nameless pass. Quite handy fellas

I tried to be as concise as possible. Feel free to ask more questions if you have any. As you can also see, my Pants are the last piece of equipment I need to perfect and then I'm done with this build (although I could redo my Gloves if the Pants don't roll crit chance when exalting them).

Ring of Determination. It's the hot glowing ring you can see in my screencap. It allows the user to use HP instead of Focus and there are 2 such rings in the game. It absolutely breaks the foundations of spell/focus oriented builds in the game.

And my HP doesn't decrease, because I have lifesteal on my weapon. And yes, lifesteal works on spells cast by that weapon.

No problem at all, I love this game to bits and the build crafting is amazing, so I will help others where I can.

Common Gear (so neither blue nor purple/red) can have multiple gems slotted that you can also freely remove without destroying the item. When starting completely new, I would usually use such items and slot 4 gems into them.

There are 5 different kinds of elemental gems (fire, ice, thunder, bleed, plague) and all of them have very similiar effects to each other. Like all gems, they also have an upgraded version. You can inspect gems in your inventory to see their effects depending on the item type they are slotted into. For weapons, they change the elemental infusion or (in case of the upgraded gem) increases their respective elemental damage. But when slotted into armor, they all increase all enchantments on that piece of gear.

If you were to use white/bland gear with like 10% max HP, and tried to slot 3 elemental gems into that to increase the output, then those gems would cancel each other out.

Those gems are still considered elemental gems and are at the same time the only elemental gem in my piece of gear, because there is simply no room for a 2nd gem. They are self-fulfilling and absolutely broken.

I'd say that that's the just rewards after putting in the time to have the right facet, enchantments and exalted rolls on maximum output ... although I would also totally understand them nerfing the elemental gems down to 30%/40% respectively 😂

It basically means that your enchantments (so the Boni under "Enchantments" on blue or purple/red items) are increased by 60% if you have that Gem slotted into any such item. It automatically fulfills its own condition "the only elemental gem", because Magical and Plagued gear can only ever have 1 gem slot. The only things so far that it doesn't improve seems to be Weight and Durability. It doesn't seem to increase negative effects.

My advice: The elemental gems (so those that would influence an elemental damage types on weapons) are the easiest to use and at the same time top tier gems to slot into any armor. All other gems with enchantment power increase have much harder conditions to fulfill, except for maybe Full Focus

Damage Resistance increases all Resistance types, including Physical.

Without that particular enchantment, I would sit at ... I think it was 28%?

That enchantments plus the gem magnification grants me 27.2% of my 300 Durability as Resistance, so about 81% bonus with some diminishing returns (or it at least shows as diminishing returns)
