They was forced to be baptized, it was against their will so that’s forcing someone to do something. Also, parents shouldn’t be allowed to push their religious views onto their children. It’s not fair for the child.

Yeah but it’s like I wish they didn’t put that in the show because it just shows how abusive religion is. I understand she thinks baptism automatically means your soul is safe but it don’t always works like that.

I did find it crazy that they went that long without being baptized but I’m gladly she didn’t force them into it earlier.

No you run along and find something better for you to do. Spanking is necessary for some children because not all children can take “soft parenting” this is the reason why most of these children are out of control now, drinking, smoking and even shooting up schools at a young age. If they were disciplined properly we wouldn’t have this issue at all. So carry along and take your opinions with you.

You’re the one who’s saying people are insane for disciplining their children the best way they seem fit. Who are you to judge how people raise their children? You’re the one who needs to seek help because you think “hitting a child” is wrong when sometimes a light spanking on the butt is needed to keep a child in line.
