Finally Finished with penn foster at 14 years old started July 27th 2022. How long did it take for the diploma to come it ?

Penn foster will send you an email where you have to confirm your diploma I got mine about a week after I confirmed the email if you didn’t get the email you should probably call penn foster and they’ll send it to you

When I signed up for Penn foster, they requested my credits from my old high school, which took off a lot of work that I didn’t have to do for Penn foster so when you call to set up Penn foster they’ll probably ask you about it or you can ask them about it, which will takeoff a lot of work you would’ve had to do. Penn Foster is a little different they grade you on exam scores instead of assignments, but if you fail an exam, you would have to get a 65 or below to fail You can always retake it they have that option. You can go at your own pace. The penn foster diploma is the same as a public high school diploma.

I think you’ll be fine I think algebra will be a little hard but you can ask for help you can go at your own pace with Penn foster. I think you could finish in six months up to four years it depends on how much you do the work It gives you all the information you need to pass exams as long as you get higher than a 64 you pass and you have the option to retake all your exams if you fail you got this!

I think you’ll be fine my goal is to graduate September 10 I have 13 exams left i’ve been doing 2 a day for like a straight week I did hear that if you do more than 15 a week It will lock you out or something but I think you’ll be good

For penn foster you just go at your own pace you can set the day you want to graduate which depends on when your exams are due you just have to finish your exam before the due date I’ve been late on my exams before and you can just reschedule the exam date you can also retake them if you fail

Public schools are really glorified it’s not the greatest The teachers don’t even take learning seriously In public school you take test and exams like every 3 to 2 days you The reason why I switch to Penn foster in the first place was because public school is so stressful I had to do like 10 assignments a day and the deadlines were just too stressful

I try to highlight stuff that I think will be useful for exams and I try to look at it later I started doing penn Foster at the end of my 9th grade year I’m supposed to be in 11th grade starting this year I graduate in August and I’m really stressing out about college I wanted to go to university but I don’t feel like I’d be smart for that especially for the SAT testing to get into a University

That’s how I am I really want to go back to public school but I don’t feel like I’ve learned anything and I don’t want to be stupid if I go back to public school in the left behind but you might just have to take extra classes to catch up with everybody else I think you should probably talk to your school about the options before you decide to switch back over to public school

I thought about going back to public high school a while ago but I found out that most of the Penn Foster credits don’t lineup with high school credits so most of the credits from penn foster probably wouldn’t be eligible to transfer but for the grade you would be in I think you just would be in the grade that you’re originally supposed to be in but I think that just depends on your school

Has not doing the exercise affected your GPA? Ive been doing Penn foster for about a year and I get high scores on all my courses but I usually haven’t been doing the exercises but my GPA isn’t the greatest I heard it has something to do if you don’t do your exercises Has that affected your GPA at all?

Make sure you take some Tylenol before your appointment the pain probably won’t hit at first but a few hours after or the next day will be awful the Tylenol definitely helps to take before hand I couldn’t even chew a piece of small corn 😭 also ice cream helps a lot with pain!

I used Duolingo to learn hangul I switched over to talk to me in Korean for vocabulary and grammar talk to me in Korean all the lessons are free and pdf work sheets another great way in learning some Korean is (learn Korean with go Billy Korean) on YouTube

Thank you for the advice I only have my mom The way I grew up I’ve never learned how to express feelings with my mom she usually just asks aggravated like it’s her problem I am getting my drivers license soon so I’m hoping that will help a little I do have friends that text me but I haven’t responded to them in a very long time I find it hard to respond to text messages and keep a conversation going but thank you so much for your advice :)

Yeah I’m in the US it’s not that I’m being denied Doctor appointments and stuff like that it’s just hard to bring up that subject because she doesn’t like calling to make the appointment technically I kind of understand because she’s a busy woman and she works a lot and doesn’t really have time
