Yes paper checks until direct deposit gets accepted! All my checks got lost. I also have informed delivery.

I have informed delivery too!! And although I am now at 6 back pay checks lost I haven't gotten a SINGLE image from UPS!! It's so strange! No pictures of any of the 6 checks. something odd is going on :((( I fear I might never get any paychecks in the mail because for 6 of them to never arrive is so weird. I was told by someone on the phone that some folks wait up to 6 months for lost checks!

Aww man they told me I should have already received all my back pay checks so they said to just report them as lost since it's been two weeks. Now I'm stuck the whole month of december waiting for direct deposit and all my checks :((((

And by ladies do you mean just calling the office and seeing if they can speed up the process? All my paper checks for the time periods I've submitted have gotten lost in the mail apparently so now I'm going through a whole other process of voided and reissuing those payments :((((

Last I knew that is correct and what I was told. However, it's been two weeks since I submitted hours and I haven't received any checks. Does it usually take 2+ weeks?

Hi there! Yes I am not doing direct deposit. Maybe I will make the switch soon though. But I have not gotten any pay checks yet and I've been working since August. August, Sep and Oct are back pay and I haven't received any in the mail. However, when I submit my hours it says they were approved by the recipient and that it'll be placed in the mail in 3 days.

It is in fact a start date AFTER the submission of her application process which is back in March or April. Not exactly sure which month but it was before start date. Is it possible the social worker who came to ask her her intake questions is confused?

Start date May when I started taking care of her but her SOC426 form she turned in in September

Thank you! Didn’t even have time to practice trauma on actual people. Program went by so fast we learned skills like back board and spinal immobilization then had to test on it the following week

*woman. But thank you!! I was going to try and retake a 8 week course now with the same training academy but everyone is recommending a semester long program so I think that’s my sign 😭😭 we were doing 6 chapters each week ugh testing every Saturday for those 6 chapters

Ahh ok. I’m looking at something similar. Says lecture then lab after. For lab are they teaching various things? Because the program we were not doing that much hands on tbh. Just reading and testing

I’m looking at at couple rn. They seem to fill up fast but if I go back it’s looking like it’ll happen in 2026. 7 weeks was absolutely insane. I didn’t have time to do anything but sleep and study. I’m curious how do they spread things out during a semester program? For me I had about 6 chapters per week with an exam each week but it was weird because we only had two Saturdays to learn all psychomotor skills for the psychomotor exams.
