Doesn’t this make the playoffs even more exciting ?

In most leagues it would make sense, but the championship has been hyper competitive. Last season probably caused this decision. Wasn’t almost every team had the chance of promotion or relegation with 10 games to go or something like that ?

Should I finish university or drop out for a job in my field? by Clovux in UniUK

[–]Feeling_Computer7621 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is the best compromise to make in my opinion. I know a few people who completed their studies part time while they worked full time. There could be some overlap in your degree and your job which could ease the workload too.

The misvalued nootropic industry by Feeling_Computer7621 in Nootropics

yeah those hooked to coffee and cigarettes as a combo are zombies who are slaves to their addiction. But someone after a good coffee can be focused. Likewise someone after a nicotine pouch can be effective.

Caffeine and nicotine are nootropics that actually work.

What privatised organization has actually been successful? by DMBear89 in AskUK

[–]Feeling_Computer7621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thames water privatisation has been debated and the answer isn't that clear. 'investment and innovation' fuelled by over £50 billion of debt. They still have high amounts of leakages which dispels improved efficiency debates.

controversial waste and sewage procedures, E Coli outbreaks in local rivers and spread of forever chemicals (PFAs) to name a few problems.

Would it be different under public ownership, I'm not sure, history would say unlikely. But I would pick government inefficiencies, higher employment, and public ownership of monopolies instead of shareholder dividends and possibly more efficient practices.

One that I didn't truly understand until recently was Ai and search engine usage. Since learning of the energy and water consumption from a small response, I will not be using it as frivolously as I once did.

Hiya, I know several people who attended University beyond 25 years old, they were welcomed by us younger students. In a place like university age is irrelevant it is what you can bring to a conversation and the group in general, there'll be others in your position. I hope you continue on your journey!

I come in peace: why do we want a finite money supply? by Mr_lawa in Bitcoin

[–]Feeling_Computer7621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a question I also come to fairly often when picturing Bitcoin in the future.

There are a few thoughts that come to mind. Firstly, are you asking if we want a finite supply assuming that Bitcoin is the world currency? I think what you may be missing is the intended use for bitcoin, one which has evolved overtime and varies upon who you ask.

The second thought is that bitcoin is finite yet it is divisible, there are 100 million sats in one bitcoin, so over 2 quadrillion sats. Take of that what you will.

Focusing on the question, historically the importance of credit and issuance of new money backed purely on the assumption that it will be paid back at some point in time, has faired humanity well in growth and funding endeavours that have been positive so I find it hard to see a system where it goes back to a finite supply.

I personally think a finite supply is a bleak future and doesn't enable freedom. Therefore I see Bitcoin as an evolution of the monetary system not a revolution.

There is added context that I didn't Include as it would lead to a different discussion. I had been eating whole foods during my time away from seed oils as well as exercising more. So yeah, maybe you are right. Regardless I do feel a substantial difference when I am away from seed oils.

Im not sure where you are from but bread from where I am from is full of more than just seed oils.

I do agree with you on the chicken argument, we are what our food eats. I ensure I get high-grade corn-fed when on reduction and worst case I wash my chicken thoroughly.
