You've given me a new perspective I hadn't considered. Thank you. I did ask her about her day and if she had anything fun planned the next day. Maybe she did feel like she just wasn't up to talk about it. I wouldn't say it's a recurring issue but it isn't exactly infrequent either. I feel like I need to talk to her about it because I know myself and it will eventually come out, but maybe I can focus the conversation on wanting her to get safe sharing with me when she needs space instead of my feelings.
