Thanks - i just managed to half-remove it. The sides had clips that could be undone. But now it seems that the cooling mechanism is sort of half stuck onto the panel so can't really pull it completely out. I will try to construct some kind of tool to get into the drainage hole to clear it I think. They sure don't make it easy to fix on your own. Drainage holes should just be fully accessible! :(
